Temporary Galleries - British Museum - Hadrian, Empire and Conflict

DHA Designs were appointed to light this prestigious exhibition in the British Museum's Round Reading Room. It contains a fantastic collection of art and sculpture which tells the story of Hadrian's life. The exhibition received rave reviews.

The exhibition was designed and managed by the museum’s in-house team, and was the first (of 6 exhibitions) that DHA Designs lit in this difficult space.

With no ceiling but the beautiful dome, all the lighting had to be integrated to setworks and walls. DHA also worked closely with the AV consultants to balance the sculptural lighting against the large-scale projections to the cyclorama.
